Interdisciplinary Projects

The Harker ISE Lab serves to promote many projects across campus, which consist of multiple majors, faculty, students, and staff. The Colored Conventions Project (top) team consists of faculty, students, and staff from disciplines such as English, Computer & Information Sciences, and History and brings nineteenth-century Black political organizing to digital life. The Philadelphia Flower Show (middle) team consists of faculty and students from disciplines such as Landscape Design, Leadership, and Art and creates an educational exhibit at the flower show each year. The Simutrach team (bottom) consists of faculty, students, and staff, from disciplines such as Theatre, Nursing, and Engineering and has invented a device to provide realistic training for the care of tracheostomy patients.
