The Institute for Transforming University Education (ITUE) is a group of faculty from various disciplines who work together to help new and experienced faculty create and deliver active, engaged, high quality instruction. Since the mid-90s, ITUE has led many faculty development workshops at UD and on other campuses, both in the US and in other countries. Workshops focus on problem-based learning (PBL), student engagement, and team-based learning. ITUE maintains a Website and the PBL Clearinghouse, a resource for well developed, peer reviewed problems, organized by disciplines. ITUE actively partners with various groups across campus, including Academic Technology Services, the Center for Teaching and Assessing Learning, and student support services.
